Custom Built Bmx Bikes

When the monotony reigns

the other day walking around in my shop tools of confidence, I noticed a box of junk drumming ".. various pieces .. Mechanical .. auctions .. broken pedals ..
So I brought home a little bit of miscellaneous and I searched for ways to give new life to scrap ..
The first result was a new version of the Charleston flush ..
differences compared to the first version are many .. First
dimensions are much more compact, making the small object far more easily placed inside the kit ..
Second, using a single spring, placed in a hat as normal, making the response more "natural" ..
pedal, in this version is more easily controlled in height, so you can better manage the inclination of the platform.
Then it cost around ten euro .. (Even better .. eheeh)

only sore point .. In achieving this version I am to get carried away and bought the brake cable for super-luxury model .. I said to myself .. ".. but you do things right .."... well .. moral of the story .. the jacket was too tight and the cable ran fine .. so the pedal does not come back up ..
replace the cable with the discount model, everything is back to work perfectly ..

Morale ... It is not all that glitters is gold .. eheh

stay tuned.

Images Of Eight Ball Leather Jacket

not throw anything away

How many tears when you realize that your beautiful saucer has a crack and does not sound very nice .. more
The only option is to throw it .. open your wallet and replace it with a new ...

But you can also try to mess over to get something that has a new sound to add to the kit ..

So, once identified the damaged area, I began thinking about how to change the pot.

I thought the easiest solution, or a circular cut which tried to drive the damaged part, of course repeated more times to obtain a symmetrical shape.

With the help of the cutter model, I began work, and I cut the plate trying to follow the blue lines .. I was not very precise, but in the end I wanted to understand more than anything else how would you change the sound finishes before proceeding.

Once rounded corners and burrs removed with the wheel, the plate looks like this ...

Very trivial, in fact .. But maybe in future we will make other changes ..

Set in the kit I tested the sound .. is very soft .. convenient to make the orchestral crescendo without mallets ..

(the sound is actually a bit disgusting .. but the pot is not the start that it was then 'I'm crabs ... hehe) ...

the next ..

Ps what is above the bottom of a hh Paiste 302, which I riveted .. makes an interesting sound to keep the rhythm instead of the standard crash ..

Stay tuned!

Used Jvc Sp-pwm606 Subwoofer

A bit of theory ..

These days, I was asked how the Theremin, that strange instrument that consists of two antennas connected to a box that produces sounds similar to "angelic voices" ..
A famous example of using This instrument is short for Star Trek (first series).

So .. How does a Theremin?

The physical principle on which the operation of the instrument is the fact that the human body has its own impedance, so it can act as an electrical conductor, interacting with electrical circuits with which it comes into contact.
More specifically, with regard to the theremin specifically, if we take a ' antenna, which is a wire connected to an electrical circuit through a single terminal and approach it with your hand, create a variable capacitor , which presents as first armature antenna itself, as our second hand (actually, our whole body) and the air as a dielectric.
Electrically this is possible because both the electric circuit which is part of the antenna, and our bodies are connected with the earth then, although the electrical quantities involved are very small, there is still passing charges.
varying the distance between the hand and the antenna will change the ability of this "virtual capacitor" that abbbiamo just created. If this capacitor is connected to an oscillator , varying capacity, will also change the oscillation frequency of the latter.

That said, let's to analyze how the Theremin produces sound output as well as how to interact with this sound, the musician ...
tool allows you to manage two properties of the note produced: the frequency (pitch) and amplitude (volume).
To manage the theremin pitch uses a principle known as beat. Mixing two signals at two distinct frequencies are obtained by two other signals, characterized by having the first frequency equal to the sum of two frequency sources, and the second frequency equal to the difference.
We are interested in only the second signal product with a trick: if we generate a signal at a fixed frequency and then we create a second variable frequency, which deviates from the first between 20 Hz and 20 kHz, we obtain an output signal that falls in the spectrum audible by the human ear.
said .. how do you make the second signal to interact with the musician?
To do this we create two oscillators centered on the same frequency. Mixing the signals produced by these oscillators will get a signal at zero frequency in sleep.
connecting the tuning capacitor of the second oscillator, an antenna, we can vary the oscillation frequency (as described above). Properly calibrating the oscillator, we can ensure that the slip rate remains in the range 20 Hz - 20 kHz, obtained after mixing a low frequency signal.

We will now deal with the volume ...

is always to create the oscillator connected to the antenna, which then generate a variable signal in frequency as the pitch.

It changes the use made of this signal.
In this case, you use a circuit that frequency-voltage converter that allows you to create a voltage proportional to the frequency of the input signal.
This tension will be used to modulate the amplitude of the signal produced from the first antenna using a circuit called VCA (Voltage Controlled Amplifier).

Skate Sharpener For Sale

Muccamic

The alternative idea would be to copy the system and use a yamaha reggirullante, so you can fine-tune the position and any angle .. but when a solution is a bit too expensive ..

In the back I practiced three vents, necessary to promote the cone and avoid too many stationary and completely alter the frequency response ...
The other option is to close all the holes and fill the box with rock wool .. and has not said that I will not .. depends on how you evolve the recording test ...

The addition of the rim and the skin mesh finish the aesthetic finish .. It will evaluate whether to put the circle even in the back ..

Note .. taking away the speaker, muccamic may very well become an electronic drum pad .. who knows .. maybe one day I will build a full set done so ...

Stay tuned ...

Accelerated Summer Emt Training In Michigan

When a microphone is not working ..

What to do when you realize that your bold bass drum microphone, gem € 200 and broken, not working properly, emitting simple "pac .. pac .." instead of a bass drum sound?
The simple answer, of course, is "buy one again .." but currently do not have the necessary economic resources ...

Then it occurred to me to try to create a clone of the highly popular subkick yamaha .. can enhance the sympathetic tone lower tamburone ..

So .. said microphone in practice consists of a common speaker in a canned-like drum and bass drum in front of the opening of ..

Looking around, I found the house a loudspeaker 16 cm from the machine, a roll of wood veneer and a wooden panel of a cabinet that I had advanced in the assembly ..

While I was I gave it a coat of black paint to the wood, just to create a basis upon which to apply the paper-cow (it is now an obsession .. ehehe)

A paint dry I then inserted the cable connector on the back to set the speaker ...

Now the prototype is complete .. in the coming days will execute some tests and if the darn thing will prove to be usable, I will finish the look ...

From the first listen already a noticeable difference than before .. course, now I have to use two microphones to resume the bass drum, but I can instantly create a good sound for any kind .. from metal to jazz ...

recycling cheers!

stay tuned!
